Ryan -

So if it ever warms up, I'll be in touch. I can't wait to get the car looking good again. I hand washed it on its 1 year old birthday which turned out to be a nice day. Then a day later it looked like crap again. This weather is garbage.

So yeah, once it clears up some and is going to stay that way, let's talk some business. Nice work on Joe's car, he's extremely satisfied with the job you did..

Josh

Thanks Josh! I hope the weather breaks soon and I can't believe it's suppose to snow this weekend too. Hopefully next week it does get better though. I can't wait to do your car and I will make sure that thing gets heavy looks from everyone. The best part is everytime you wash it, your car will have that just detailed look and it will last for a long time.

I am glad that Joe was happy. He was a very nice guy and his car turned out great.

Keep in touch and give me a call when you want your car done. Thanks again Josh!

Thanks

Ryan

Everytime I check this thread, it seems to amaze me more!

Awesome job Ryan, that turnaround was fantastic!

Thanks Ryan! I was very amazed myself. I wish I had better outside pics and wish my camera took better pics too. I played with the camera settings and made the outside pics come out yellowish.

My friend that is a big time show car collector/bodyman specialist had seen the car before and after and he was completly blown away. He told me that I would never be able to make that car come out perfect. I proved him wrong. In the summer he wants me to do his show cars now.

Sounds good..

My process from last year:

Dawned, clayed, washed with Z-7, dryed thoroughly, z-5, z-2, z-5, z-6..

That was the first hand wash I've done after the winter. I have to say that the Zaino held up really well. The weight of the sheepskin mit was enough to take the dirt off, and the surface was nice and smooth like before the winter.. Here's some pictures of how it looked when I was done:

Still has a good finish IMO.. I'm happy with how the Zaino held up.. Once it warms up, I'll be in touch though, those light delivery swirls need to go.. :xyxthumbs

Looks nice Josh! Great color too!

I will remove the swirls and take the gloss to a whole new level first, then I will top it with zaino:grinno:

I always make sure I prep the paint and remove all the swirls and make it extremely glossy first to where I am impressed. Then I top it with zaino and bring it to a whole new level of gloss and durability. That color will be amazing when I am done. I can't wait to see the smile on your face when you see it complete:D
