I had a fight with a 1996 Passat that was never waxed, detailed or even washed that much. In fact, if you look at the side shots, you can see how the pinstriping is almost gone. I know, I know, I should have wetsanded it away...Maybe after I get my free dinner...
It was black, of course, what else could make the day better???
I did:
IP x2 with Orange Pad @ 1200
FP x2 with White Pad @ 1200
Blackfire by hand (all provided by owner)
Though it looks much better, there are still a bunch of spots I just gave up on. It was a friends car and I was helping him out...but it just got to be too much and we ran out of sun (and patience). I really wish I had PG and Wool with me, but there's only so far you can go with a freebie...
