I've *generally* been successful using #16 on trim but only when I employed a semi-W-O-W-O approach. Leaving excess wax *can* cause white staining (not as bad as with many other LSPs, but still...) and some trim simply stained, period. I dunno...there are better choices for use on trim IMO, much as I like #16.
If you want to try it, pick an inconspicuous test area and be careful to *NOT* apply too much. Really work it in and then immediately buff it off.
Besides the AW (which I've yet to try), Collinite 845 comes to mind, and their 476S stains less frequently than #16 (I even used the latter on the black plastic and rubber trim of the Volvo wagon I used to have).
