July fourth is almost here, so what's your top three favorite wartime/action movies? tough to narrow it down, but mine would be : Saving private Ryan, Blackhawk down, We were soldiers.

I still do not like any Guadalcanal movies (including the shows from The Pacific series) to date that hasn ot captured the naval and ground battle for the island.

THE GREAT ESCAPE, THE DEER HUNTER, MASH, FULL METAL JACKET and a few other's. Now what I saw and live thru was the last 2 weeks of Vietnam ( Fall of Saigon ), Desert One Area, Grenada, Desert Shield / Desert Storm and the first round of Afghanistan.
