A very sad day for me :(

Mike,

You took beautiful care of that BMW, the red was absolutely gorgeous. I know someone will appreciate all the hard work and effort that went into it...

There's a new one just over the horizon to fill the void....:bigups

Thanks Bobby. I'm not sure when that void will be filled or with what, but I'm sad and excited at the same time.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I am sure the new owner is honored to have that car in the condition that you kept it. I can't wait to see what you put in the garage in it's place.

Thanks bro. Why are you selling your TA, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm ready for something new and I just don't get to enjoy the TA like I used to. It's got some issues that I've been fixing but being 10 years old I'm sure it will need other stuff at some point soon

Thanks Richard. I doubt I'll see it again. I sold it to the dealer Dave Eller (Detail Dave) rents his bays from, and Dave told me it's already sold. I think the dealer must have had a buyer lined up already.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. When a pristine example of a car like that comes up available, motivated buyers will come out of the woodwork to snap it up.

Besides, it's not like the dealer had to do a damn thing to prep it for sale! It was already the best looking car on the lot before it even got there.

That was a sharp M3! I can relate.
I hated giving up my 84 633 csi (635 spec and euro body conversion) and 88 16v Scirocco. (red). They both went at the same time for more practical transportation years ago.
I want them both back still, or a 88M6.
Best of luck on your new quest.
