Wool Pad Care

just got done polishing the lips on my wheels. i was using a wool pad and the polish is really caked on there good. what's the best way to get the pad good and clean? it was used on my rotary.

Be careful not to breathe in the dust though.

i saw that, but thought it was only for foam pads. my friend said i could just toss it in the washing machine. still not sure though.

A stiff brush pressed against the woolpad whilst spinning is the way I clean the woolpad.

Never wash a wool pad, it will ruin it. Use a pad spur to clean the pad properly.

Spray it with the pressure from your garden hose shake it remount it on your rotary buffer set on floor and turn on and let spin dry takes about 4 minutes for wool pads only if they are good pads they will not fall apart . This is for wool pad that are bolted on not tied on
