Car recently polished with essence on gloss pad and topped with gyeon cure...needed some good wax shine

Enter wolfgang fuzion spray wax

I`ll just get right to it...

If you want a solid explanation on how to apply properly, I will refer you to the much more eloquently prosed thread created by Marc
`http://www.autopia.org/forums/detailing-product-reviews/185574-review-wolfgang-fuzion-spray-wax.html

I went a little buck wild as my wax waster side came out, naturally.

Sprayed very generously

Left swipe is after 10 mins. Right swipe, after entire car and a break, 20 mins or so

The parts I removed last had sat 40 mins or so and were the easiest to remove.

Thoughts:

Smell- smells nice, like a fancy sun tan lotion. That fresh "wax" smell, if that makes any sense.

Color- a tinted yellowish shade

Consistency- not thick but not thin either.` not thin like water but a little more like whole milk compared to skim in thickness

Sprayer - has stream and spray option. I chose spray. It comes out seemingly thicker than it is inside the bottle

The application: (with regards to 1st application)
Spreads out much further than expected. Immediately regretted applying as much, lol

Took a few extra towel wipes to get all of it.

The longer it sat on my paint inside the cool garage, the easier it was to remove.

2nd application- sprayed much lighter and spread easily. I did a section at a time then removed.
Removed very easily.

Moral: Don`t over do it, learn from my experience. Light is alright. :)

It`s hard to see the high spots if they are there, or at least was for me.

The shine- very wet shine. Seems like it darkened a shade. Not as dark as nattys black on black hole but a warm depth. Added what the essence+cure couldn`t do.

Surface tension: quite high

I had to hit my wipers on the interstate coming home. My wiper sprayers are about 8 inches down hood so if I hit them, they spray some water on the top of the hood and I usually have to wipe off the fresh spots when I stop. Not tonight. Nothing on the vinyl by the wiper sprayers.

Only a few tiny beads on roof but most of the water running off the windshield went into my drivers window, quite quickly too

Now the $34.99 ($39.99 regularly) question- is it worth it

My answer: absolutely

Ease of use (if applied properly of course) is great.

Shine is ridiculous. My car is used to getting lots of attention and praise when out amongst the other Mopars, but tonight people were extra impressed. Myself included.

A few final shots

Good review. Love the big water bead shot. Challenger looks awesome as usual. I just can`t pull the trigger on the spray wax that costs $35. Give me a bottle of BFWD or a tin of Natty`s and I`m good. I think it`s just a stubborn thin.

I do need to try Fuzion in a paste someday. Right after I use all my, BFWD, Natty`s red, FK 1000p, Duragloss, and Meguiar`s Gold Class:) I need to stop buying LSP`s:)

The paste version may be easier to apply as it doesn`t require ANY haze time. Apply and wipe right off. This would be a good alternative for those not wanting the price point of the paste.

The wiper spray is exactly like that on my dodge truck and it drives me nuts. I dont know why they would put a spray system on the vehicles that dribble washer fluid all over the hood.

Car has a shine to it though, might have to rethink this stuff. How does it compare to the PA stuff?

Never tried PA sprays
Trying to stay away from a manifest desire to collect them all, as they are expensive, haha

Great review Brandt! Those after shots look stunning! Paint looks dripping wet.

I was going to ask if you saw any difference in shine between applying it heavy like you initially did and applying it light - glad you answered that.

I agree with all your thoughts regarding this product.

Thanks for the review and good to know as mine comes in on Tuesday or maybe even Monday if I`m lucky

that sounds expensive and I just spent ALL my connect points Sunday

PA Rapid Wax is on my short list of WANTS for sprays for sure

wuelfente .... Also may I suggest vikin sprits or cosmic spritz and gold zircon. :)

It`s fun spending op`s $$$$
