I have been looking for some goods light to luminate when I detail. I've been getting quite a few white cars and boy is it hard to see. I do have a 500w Lamp now, but the bulb is dead and I have no clue how much it is to replace. I'm going with these 2 choices:

http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/prod...tical=TOOL&pid=03473925000&subcat=Work+Lights
Craftsman 1000 watt Work Light with Tripod Stand and Portable Base from Sears @ 19.88

http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=74025-290-TQS1000
Regent Twin Portable Quartz Halogen Work Light from Lowes @ 34.97

These lights can help around the house too. Which would you choose? I'm gonna be honest and say the Lowes light looks cool
:lmfao But the Craftsman is on sale and seems like a good deal. Similar designs. Any suggestions/comments? THanks! :bigups

they look pretty much the same :dunno
it's hard to tell... the Lowes ad doesn't say too much

The Sears one is on sale :D

Well from looking at both sites there the one from lowes has a 5 year warranty. I think all Craftsman products carry a lifetime warranty but that might be for just hand tools I dont know but anyway either one will be sufficiant enough. My 2 pennys worth!!!!

I have the Sears ones myself. They are pretty nice quality. I think I stripped one bolt, but it was probably my massive strength rather than poor design. :D

I am pretty sure that the Craftsman Lifetime warranty is limited to hand tools. I am not 100% on this, but they will give you a hassle if it something other than a hand tool around here.

They are all pretty much the same ... I got mine at Value Home Center for about $20.00. included the 2 lights and a tripod base. It only extends to about 6 feet and sometimes I wish it was higher.
When you replace the bulbs ... and you will because they don't seem to last too long ... Use the heavy duty ones cause they do last longer.
