I had a request by PM to share some of my favorite products so I decided to share them with everyone and see what your favorite products are too!

Since I am only listing 10 products, there are literally hundreds that I like that are not listed, let's see who made the list!

1. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant - It's never let me down and looks great on my silver car. Slick, easy to use, durable. Will always be a favorite of mine.

2. CarPro Iron X - Recently added to my list and #2 with a bullet. It removes iron contamination from the surface and pores of your paint and wheels. I used to think my car was clean until I used this product. Now I know what clean really is.

3. Foam Cannon HP used with DP Xtreme Foam Formula Shampoo - OK, I cheated and listed two items here but they go hand in hand and are a vital part of my car wash process.

4. Grit Guard Plastic Inserts - Two bucket method with two Grit Guards in each bucket. Some might say overkill, I call it cheap insurance against swirls.

5. Poorboys Spray & Wipe & Poorboys Spray & Gloss - OK, I cheated again but I have more products to mention. When I'm in a rush, I use Spray & Wipe to get it clean and follow up with Spray & Gloss to restore the slickness and shine.

6. Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel - Looks perfect on my tires and no sling.

7. CarPro C.Quartz Ceramic Paint Protection - A recent addition to my favorites list, I fully expect this one to move up the list quickly and I am intrigued by the technology behind it.

8. Black Wow Trim Restorer - My go to product for exterior plastic trim.

9. Flex XC3401 Polisher, Lake Country Hydro-Tech Pads, Wolfgang Swirl Remover 3.0 and Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 - Why couldn't I have had this available when I operated my detailing business? Would have saved so much time and made a lot more money.

10. 303 Aerospace Protectant - Just love that matte finish on interiors

There's my list. Feel free to comment or ask me about it.

I have plenty more that I could add to this list but, these are my go to for every day detailing and or car maintenance. I should also add that prior to joining ODC, I learned about all of the above products from the site and its members. Its made me a MUCH better detailer...THANKS:D:D

Here are the things I appreciate in no particular order

1. Gilmour full flow water shut-off (not sold at most detailing places, they carry the less flow models). I can change from sprayer to foam gun to slow rinse quickly

2. Two bucket system. I like that the wash bucket stays clean so it works as well in the beginning as the end. Grit Guards may help but I think having plenty of water (min 3 gallons and rinsing well is more important).

3. Glass Cleaner-Sprayway. I like the way it just gets the minimum amount on the glass so less to remove.

4. Optimum Power Clean. It does everything I want it to do.

5. Flex 3401. I think the PC is a vibrating toy. (Griot's is nice just not as refined) It has its limitations and extra effort to guide but you know it is serious about its job. No nonsense.

6. M105/M205 (have not used the MF DA system) is very simplistic - no worries about flashing, etc. It may not get the best final results but it works.

7. Waterless wash (PB's, Adams, DP) - a nice way to use post wash to leave a nice look without adding gloss. PB gets the nod to working in the sun compared to DP/Adams.

8. Mothers FX Spray Wax - great gloss booster with longevity with minimal application effort over a gloss detailer.

9. Mothers Reflections Tire Care - first choice for a matte finish tire dressing

10. Undercarriage Spray (Griots, Adams, CG - used them all) - I think Griots has more "oil" than the other two but they all seem to work on wheel wells

10a. Metro Master Blaster - nice way to really dry a car. It can be improved with a detailer wipe down but gets rid of water in places you cannot get without forced air.

10b. Microfiber. It works.

Here are my basics foregoing wash items and brushes and tools.
