What's the BIGGEST and best microfiber towel?

I'm always ordering microfiber towels for drying my car, and they always end up much smaller than I like. Who makes the BIGGEST drying towel out there?

Of course it has to be a good one, and I prefer the waffle-weave. But I want big, so I can just use one towel for the entire car.

I've been looking for one as well - this would be specifically for my JB BMW. I don't forsee myself taking the lawn blower approach and my current method is to use ample QD when drying with a WW. The WW is primed via drying the glass too as well, to mitigate as least marring as possible.

Awhile back, Nick over at DP had a Monster Fluffy *Super Fluffy* sized towel. It sold out and they never brought it back.

BUT, a towel that is that plush would definitely something I would by for my ~application~

Monster fluffy's don't work well for drying IME, but I do really like their waffle weaves - they seem just the right size to me -fairly large but manageable.

if you sheet as much water off as possible, there won't be as much to dry up. i use a ultra-soft waffle weave and/or an x-large microfiber drying towel and it takes only one to dry the car...

I like Neat Items towels. Great price and soaks up water faster than waffel weave MF.

Which ones do you have, then? The "Luxury of Reya" or the regular terry? I've been holding back from pulling the trigger on those LoR towels for a while (to use as bath towels, not for the car! :p )

The Danase Extremely LargeWater Devourer is pretty big, 26"x48", almost too big. Used it on a station wagon and the towel was still pretty dry. Very very soft too.
+1 on the Extremely Large Water Devourer. As I mentioned in a review I once did; this really is the big enchilada of all drying towels.

Because of the size it isn't for everyone or for use on every vehicle, but on something like a large mini-van or if you like to blot dry this is the ticket.

I once used it on a mini-van that didn't have much LSP left so it didn't sheet rinse very well at all. The one ELWD was enough to dry the whole van without becoming too saturated.

i've been using one of these for a long time with NO problems and you can find it at your local k-mart & kragen to boot as well... :2thumbs:
