What's the best wax to use for a car exposed to direct sunlight everyday?

Hey guys. I have a Mitsubishi Lancer 1992 EL and I park it outside of our apartment. I live in the Philippines where the weather is really hot. I just wonder what would be the best car wax to use to protect it from the sun? I did some research and they we're mentioning names of famous brands of car waxes in the market nowadays but I would like to know your take on this one. I know it's an old car and I get a lot of "why bother, it's 23 years old anyway" comments every now and then but please understand that this is my first car and I would love to keep it looking good as new. He-he.. Thanks in advance..

The simplest thing would be Optimum Car Wax which has a patented UV-absorber system (I think the patent has more to do with the suspension of the UV-absorber in the mixture rather than the absorber itself), but it's supposed to be the same absorber used in clearcoat paint.

Beyond that you could try a coating that has UV absorber properties like Opti-Lens or DLux. Or probably any good wax applied frequently is going to be of some help.
