My windshield and some of my windows have all this adhesive reisdue left behind from city stickers and what not.

So whats the best & most effective OTC adhesive remover for removing these types of glue residues that just don't want to come off?? :nixweiss

Please share your thoughts, thanx guys.

3M's automotive adhesive and wax remover has always worked great for me. Bumper stickers, decals, etc. seem to want to peel right off. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Pep-Boys, etc.

I never liked Goo Gone, never worked good for me and always left a mess. I use Goof Off Professional Strenght and its awesome. After i'm done cleaning adhesive you would never know it was there.

i tried goo be gone on my windshield cuz i also had stickers, it didnt go crap. i went through about 5 different products and ssr3 took it off easily.

OK Guys,

I just went to wal-mart and bought a can of 3M's automotive adhesive and wax remover and the reults were amazing!!!

The adhesive on car glass was more than a year old yet only one spray letting the chemical set in for about 20 seconds, i just wiped with a microfiber and it melted right off. it was totally awesome. It's a very very effective product.

Thanks for the heads up everyone! My problem is solved!

Just to add. I use Varsol and a razor blade and no it doesn't scratch if the blade is flat on the glass.
