What about the (not-so)mini-vans?

Hey guys, I read the thread about treating the roof of a truck, which had a lot of good input. How do y'all recommend treating the roof of a minivan? I have been avoiding claying and klasse twins out of intimidation of the amount of surface area and the lack of options for actually getting to the roof. I have washed the it before by balancing on the rear bumper and clinging for dear life, & standing on one foot on a front tire, but I don't see how I can use these techniques while operating a DA lol.

you definitely need a good work platform or at least a four step ladder. a must have for trucks and vans. long handled very soft wash brushes are a great help. claying, waxing, etc is the same as the rest of the vehicle once you are at the proper work level.

Exactly. The roof takes a beating being pretty much a flat surface always exposed to direct sunlight. If anything the roof needs the most protection and is usually the first for the clear coat to go bye bye.
