Wax for Black Metallic?

I found some Pinnacle Paste Glaz I forgot I had.

In addition I have Pinnacle Souveran, Pinnacle Liquid, Pete's 53, CG 50/50, meguiars #16 and lastly meguiars yellow wax.

Which wax or combo would best bring out the metal flake while also looking "wet".

The car is a black obsidian (Black w Metal Flake) Mercedes.

My car is black metallic too and I have been messing around with my collection. I have found that liquid souvergn really makes the flake pop and petes 53 really makes it look dripping wet. but I have tried a bunch of different layerings with prima amigo, prima epic, PB EX-P, liquid souvergn, PB NB, CG petes 53, S100 Megs 26 among others. Right now I am using Prima amigo glaze x1, prima epic x2, and liquid souvergn x2 and I like it. Might go with a flat out stright paste nuba next time with no glaze or sealent.

Can you do an experiment?

Tape off sections of one panel and try out all the waxes to see what you like best.

Agreed! could you do that? because I have been fighting with myself!!:getdown which wax to get and I have a black car so this would really help the community out!:xyxthumbs

A clear sealant such as Opti-seal should provide significant flake "pop". Clear sealants add nothing to the paint and therefore allow the paint itself to "pop".

You could also use UPP. Traditionally, it has provided one of the best looks on metallic paint.

I've never tried Top of the Line's Black Velvet carnauba but it is supposedly formulated especially for black cars. Anyone have any experience with Black Velvet?
