washing tinted windows

I'm interested in finding out what everyone uses to wash tinted windows (inside). I know most tint companies call for warm soapy water and soft cloth to minimize scratching.
Looking for input.

I've been using Eagle One 20/20, but have been hearing great things about the NXT glass cleaner and will be switching to it whenever I start to run low.

I never thought of the plexus- I have some a kit for my motorcycle and snowmobile helmet sheilds.

I'll check out the NXT glass since I too have hears some "buzz" about it. No ammonia i take it?

I can't imagine that they make an automotive glass cleaner now days that isn't window tint safe. Don't use Windex, but anything else they sell in the car care aisle is probably safe.

I've noticed that the after market tint manufacturers are now saying that the small amount of amonia in most cleaners won't really affect the tint, especially since it's a small amount that is usually wiped right off. If you've ever used amonia to try to get old tint off a window (the recommended method) you'll see that it is pretty difficult, but with so many amonia free choices of good cleaners out there why take a chance?

Folks, I was under the impression that OEM tint can handle a little ammonia better than after-market. Am I wrong?

I use Stoner's IG just in case, but anything but Gunk has done okay for me.

I have a bottle of NXT glass cleaner sittiing on my detailing shelf and that's where it's staying till I find another use for it. I have found it to streak glass, leave a film:boot . I tried it after reading post here, but I'm back to exclusively using Stoner's IG. Wish I could get IG in a spray bottle though, but it's still the best.......Tom

Interesting you should mention that... I was just at Pep Boys today, and noticed that they now have IG in both traditional aerosol, and a new spray bottle form, and thought, "oh, neat." :) hehe So check around locally, it does exist.

I thought I saw it on Autogeek in a six-pack.

I have been using Sprayway it works and is cheap lol but I have to ask Steve if I can use S&G on the tint I use it on the outside windows and it works really well here's another use for PB S&G :D
