Hello, I am looking to buy a good wall mount vacuum system. Looking to spend up to $500 on one. Any information you all can give me or tell me where i can get one. I would apreciate it.

Thanks
Jon O.

I have the Metro Vac n Blo that is wall mounted with a 24' hose. Awesome machine . Dwayne sells them. It's dependable and has plenty of power. Get the Hoover Turbo Nozzle attachment, combined with the crevice tool that comes with the vac, and you can tackle any job.

Thanks for the info. I will be ordering one from dwayne monday morning. Also where did u get the 24' hose? i ssaw that it comes with a 6' hose. I am guessin i could go to like lowes or home depot to get one but im not for sure. Where can I get the hoover turbo attachment at also?

Thanks
Jon

The larger wall mounted Metro Vac n Blo comes with the 24' hose along with many various attachments. The smaller version vac comes with the 6' hose. The smaller version has the same size motor but the larger version has a much larger cloth waste bag and has rollers in case you want it to be portable. I have both vacuums but can honestly tell you the wall mount vac is much more convienant to use. I use the smaller vac as a blower to dry wheels, door jams, moldings, etc. and also if I'm doing a mobile job. The Hoover Turbo nozzle can be purchased at any vacuum center for about $20. It actually came with my Hoover Wind Tunnel Upright Vacuum cleaner for my house and I discovered its awesome power with my Metro vac. It's much smaller than comparable turbo nozzles and I've used it for over 300 vehicles and it still is going strong. I bought an extra set of brushes and an extra belt but haven't needed to replace them yet.

Jon,
Just went to Waynes website and he doesn't have the larger wall mount version shown. Call him and I'm sure he can have one drop shipped from the manufacturer to your location. If not, he can steer you to where you can get one.

I have the wall mount Vac-N-Blo and love it. It does come with a 24' hose, but I purchased a couple of 6' extensions directly from Metropolitan. Now I have 36' of hose and the machine never leaves the wall. Truly a great vacuum and saves time too. Very convenient.

Keep in mind that the Vac N Blo is a dry vacuum.
It is Not intended for wet pick up.
It is a great dry vac and I really like mine, but if you are looking for one to use as a wet vac as well, this isn't it.

I tried to add more hose on my 24' line and I got a horrible whistling sound that I could not get rid of. Doesn't do it with the 24' but anything more the whistling sound was driving me crazy.

Yeah i have already ordered a 11 gallon hot water carpet extractor from rightlook. so I was just wanting to find a good wall mount dry vac.

Now that is very interesting Mark. Mine does the same thing with 36' of hose, a very irritating whistling. However, mine only does it when I have the crevice tool attached. All the other attachments are the same as before. I wonder why this happens? Any ideas?

Too weird.

My theory is the hose with the added length forms a pitch to it, like blowing through different size bottles, that becomes noticeably higher pitched with the added hoses. Any hose that has wind traveling through it becomes a wind tunnel and wind has a sound all of its own. Sometimes calming and sometimes creepy.Or should I say sometimes pleasant and sometimes irritating.

Well I ordered the vac today. Hope to have itby the first of the week. Id like to thank everyone for helping me decide on this vacumm and thank Dwayne for helping me out on the phone today.

kycivicboy how much did it come to? i'm looking for a vac but the rigid 5hp/4gallon seems the best bet for me.

I have an Alto Wap vacuum. It is not wall mounted, but extremely powerful and quiet. When I say quiet, I mean quiet enough to vacuum and hold a conversation without talking loud. It is expensive, however, at almost $600.
