I made the vinegar'n distilled water and used on my windshield before. Is it safe to use the plastic spray bottle and keep for long term use? I'm just worry that since it's acid and someday it'll break the plastic bottle.. any thoughts?

thanks

Plastic bottles will work fine for extended storage of the mixture. While vinegar is a mild acid, it's not anywhere near strong enough to eat through plastic. It will be fine. :up

Didn't the vinegar come in a plastic bottle? Regular white vinegar comes in plastic bottles around here. So, I think it should be okay to leave it in a plastic spray bottle for a long time.

I did that!!!!

Did not hurt the plastic but desolved all the rubber gaskets and washers and leaked all over, had to replace the whole system.

Oops, I didn't think there were non-plastic parts to a spray bottle. Thanks for mentioning it. That must make quite a mess.
