Ultimate Dog Hair Removal Tip!

I did a search to see if this tip had come up before and I see one or two people were close.

I have a northern sled dog, Husky mix, that sheds twice a year and the amount of hair he sheds is unbelievable. He also and insists on going everywhere with me in the car. Anyway I picked up this tip from TV.

While wearing a regular latex dishwashing glove dip it in a bucket of water and wipe your hand over the seat or carpet. The glove picks up all the hair in one or two passes. The trick is then to dip your hand back in the bucket of water and the hair floats off the glove.

I’ve tried vacuuming, duct tape, lint rollers, brushes etc. Believe me this is the only way to do it.

Cool tip thanks, I can use this since I got long hair and I shed like a dog :( I think I am balding... Oh well

Gonna have to try this. I hate when I have to detail cars and they are full of hair. I usually resort to using a brush and my vaccum and then Duct Tape to finish it up. Guess I'll have to try this one soon.

Thanks for this tip, dog hair has been a major problem since our Basset loves to climb around the WHOLE TRUCK.:scared

LOL Lynn, I wish I had a mercedes truck errrr I mean Sport Utility.....G Wagon to be more precise.;)

It's actually for our daily driver a Honda CRV. We fold the seats forward and our basset trots around in the back.:bounce

The car has a black interior which looks more like a spotted white black interior:eek:

The dogs not alowed in my car.:D :o

I have been using the surgical latex gloves for sometime now to remove hair from carpets. seats and headliners but have also found that my Husky, who also sheds like a maple tree in the fall, loves to be "latexed".

I put on a pair of latex gloves and with my hands alone I comb thru his wooly mammoth hair and the hair just pours of his body. he digs it.
