How is this stuff? I'm planning on using it in a couple of hours unless some horrible stuff is mentioned. I'll be applying 2-3 coats of NXT afterwards.

Thanks

I tried with with a $40 polisher from Autozone and it left a bunch of swirl marks (mainly from the machine) and then i tried it with the pc 7424 and i dont think it really worked that well.

Turtle wax polishing compound sucks ***. It dries too fast and needs to be repeated several times before it looks decent. I am not sure how others will work since they are on the way, but The turle wax sucks

I use meguair's.... detailing brushes.

& #7 once in a while.

But definitely NOT the *only* way to go.

Okay, so what over the counter polish do you reccomend?

I actually went ahead and used the TW Polishing Cmpd, and yes, it didn't do much. Decent shine, but not worth the work. Relative pain in the *** to get off too. But I followed it up with a coat of Meguire's NXT paste wax. Brilliant shine, and my understanding is it gets better after curing for 12 or so hours. So we'll see tomorrow in the sun :D

I think I'll likely add 1-2 more coats of the NXT next weekend.

You mean their stuff in the green or red plastic container or their oil base rubbing compound ? The green and red stuff should be headed for the trash can, can't blieve they make stuff like that it worse than liquid sandpaper !
