Truck-Mounted Carpeting System

Been thinking about upgrading to a truck mount carpet cleaning unit. But not sure if I can justify the cost of one. I could advertise as the only detailing guy in town that has one, maybe focus more on carpet cleaning for cars and charge a little more. There are all those RV's that need the carpets clean too. I like having the best tools to do the job right but I am not sure spending $8000+ is worth it thou.

I think it would be total over kill to buy a truck mount unit for detailing unless you were going into carpet cleaning residential/commercial. I have a Mytee portable unit and I paid $2,000.00. Great machine for residential/carpets and auto interiors. If I were only cleaning car interiors I think it's still alot of

machine. I use it for both so it works for me. Hope this helps.
