Today's detail: '06 Black Trailblazer SS

Today I worked on a black 2006 Trailblazer SS, and also took some time to teach the owner some things about proper care. The truck was only 5 weeks old, and had 1600 miles on it; so it really wasn't in TOO bad of shape. However there were some things wrong with the 3M clear film on the rockers, so there wasn't much I could do about the edges looking horrible. Regardless, process was as follows:

The owner had washed it before he came over
Meg's #80 Speed Glaze, PC /w Meg's W-8006 polish pad @ 6
Meg's #20 Polymer Sealant
Zaino Z8 Grand Finale
Stoner "More Shine" on tires
Meg's Natural Shine on wells, trim parts

And the obligatory "self portrait" in the paint reflection:

The owner was happy with the result; and I even got to drive the truck! WHAT A BEAST!!

Enjoy! :howdy

Great work! That shine is the reason why I'll never own anything other than a black vehicle.

Audiboy said it best. I concur!! Just seems like something is missing when I detail any other color vehicle.

Nice shine!!

WOW!!! amazing work!!!! what does Zaino Z8 Grand Finale do?

Thanks! And thanks all for the compliments.

The Z8 is a "spray sealant" that is actually closer to a QD spray than a spray wax; from what I've found, it can REALLY make solid colors like black and red pop, and adds extra depth and slickness to the finish on any color. And the best part is that it seems to do the same basic job over even non-Zaino sealant coats (like the #20 I used today).
