Ok every time i was my truck and i get to where i wash my wheels and tires im bumfuzzled because i can't get all the old tire shine off of my tires, and having 35" tires doesn't help too much either. I have tried using my pressure washer but that doesn't seem to do it and i have tried degreaser and that doesn't work either so please some one help me? Ps. Should i use a tire brush too?

i wouldn't believe it if you degreased, then brushed, then powerwashed and the tire shine still didn't come off.

What kind of tire shine are you using?

Try different cleaner. I find that dressings like Meguiars Insane Shine doesn't come off with regular degreaser. As a matter fact, regular soap and a foam sponge does a much better job than degreaser when it comes to that particular dressing. GO FIGURE..

I started using Hi-Temp tire cleaner because I constantly run into the same problem. It's cheap, and you can cut it 50:50.

I've been using this product for about 18 months and won't touch anything else. I use it cut 50/50 with water as such:

-Rinse tires with water
-Spray TOL Tire Cleaner on very generously
-Allow 5-10 minutes dwell time
-With a bucket of Dawn soap and water and a tire brush, begin to agitate covering each area with 5-8 hard swipes
-Rinse with a heavy stream of water

Your tires will dry a flat black. Also, you may want to look away from silicone tire dressings. Stick with a nice water-based product like Zaino Z16 or PB BnB (not sure what you're using now).

Good Luck.
