Tips for cleaning carpeting with Folex

After the reccomendation from many on here, I got a bottle of Folex to use on my floomrats. What is the process that you all use to get the best results on larger more dirty areas? Should I first wet the area down then spray the Folex on, or is Folex sprayed on it's own fine? Will using a brush on the stains followed by a dry vac be enough to get out most stains, or should an extractor be used after agitating?

Spray, agitate, wipe / blot.

+1 !!! I spray let it dwell for a minute and agitate with my UDM fitted with a carpet brush and blot up .In heavily soiled areas I use the Zep High traffic ( home Depot) Let Dwell for 1-3 min agitate the same way then use my extractor to remove

Folex for floormats? Just take the things out and powerwash them. No easier way to get it done and it works a 1000x's better than just folex. I'm sure you can folex any spots But I would still PW them afterwards. then let them hang up to drip dry for awhile then take a shop vac or extractor and get the last little bit out there.

I'll echo Jake's comments - Old School floormat cleaning for me. You could Folex, steam or extract all you want, but blasting them with a PW gets everyting out.
