Thoughts on TR6 Steam cleaner?

I'm finally making my steam cleaner purchase! :woohoo: I've read good things about the Vapor Clean TR6 and think it would be a good investment for me. I would like to use it to speed up interiors and carpet cleaning.



Are there any models that are comparable in terms of price and performance?

How does it perform?

Hows the durability?

Ease of use?

I would like to stay under $1000.



Also, if any one has any before & afters with this machine, it would be extremely helpful! Thanks in advance guys!

From what i have read w/in the past 6month on various forums, its junk for the price. Consider the VX-5000 instead. Do a search on other forums. It is spoken for highly. Midway down the link you will see a video demo.

I've been checking up on this thread looking for some responses, too. Last year there were a few threads that had some minimal information on this model steamer. Here's a link to another recent steam thread that's pretty good, but it doesn't have your model steamer. Really good before/during pictures.

I don't know anything about the TR6, but I've had my TR5 since January and use it a couple times a week and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

We use a TR6 *every* day here in the shop--no complaints. I do know of others who have complained about customer service, but I have no such experiences. Our steamer is 18 months old and we use it * a lot.*
