Suggestions for Mobile Heated Extractor?

I know this topic has been discussed before but it never seemed to come to a conclusion. Does anyone have a heated extractor that they could suggest for use by a mobile detailer? Right now I'm using a Bissell Little Green and it works great but I'd really rather have something more professional and Powerfull. Thanks.

I clean carpet for a living, if you are going to upgrade to a nice extractor you need 100 psi minimum. Spend the extra money to do it.The two extractors above are 55 psi and just wont cut it in my opinion...www.crossamerican.com builds the best extractors in the my opinion with great customer service...You can also find some nice extractors at www.jondon.com.. 100 psi will move the water faster and enable you to clean faster..Time is money.

This seems to be the best answer for a mobile detailer

I think that one company manufacturers this product and then a bunch of companies like top of the line resell it under various labels. I found the same thing here cheaper

Although I don't know much about that website.

I think the best solution would be this product but it's too big to be mobile in my opinion.

What I like about that unit is that it has 100 PSI and an inline heater that heats water up to 210 degrees.

If anybody has anything to add then it would be greatly apprecitaed.

100psi sounds like the way to go, but that would mean a much bigger/heavier machine. Will a 55psi machine do just as well as a 100psi machine, just slower??

Here's something I just found: http://www.century400.com/products/C4.sensei.04.spec.pdf

I emailed them for a price on the heated 100psi version, so I guess we'll see if this one will fit the bill or break the bank. I noted the brand machine Anthony Orosco mentioned in the thread you linked above and did a search to find their website. This looks like a top notch machine.

The heating elements may be different but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same in all of the machines. Based on that the best price seems to be at cleanfreak.com which is $559 + $20 shipping to me.

The one from totl is more expensive but it comes with a different detail tool which is supposed to be better. It's $655 shipped to me so the price difference is about $70 for the different detail tool.

I think the one from century400.com is a competitor for the mytee spyder and weighs about 3x what the aztec one weighs but does look like a good machine.

The Aztec claims to have a 6000 watt element and the Durrmaid only claims to have a 1600 watt element. Like I said before (sorry, I edited it out), either this is a typo, scam, or a really big difference between the machines.

I read the review on the Durrmaid and after that, I won't be buying a Durrmaid and am even skeptical about the Aztec since it looks identical. Once you get up to $700, I think it would be worth it to spend the extra $300 or so on a really nice one that will work correctly.

Okay, then it's a typo. I figured that. I will venture to say that it's not going to be any better than the Durrmaid. You have a Bissel right?

Unless someone says otherwise, I am thinking that these little intermediate machines just aren't worth the money. If they were around $250 I'd grab one right away, but at $600 and $700 I really can't see it being worth it.

How do you like the Bissel? I know you want something stronger, but I wonder how much stronger one of these machines will be compared to what you already have?

I really like the bissel but I think that this will do a better job and do it faster and will end up paying for itself in the future. My guess is that this will do very near the same quality work as the $1200 machine but not quite as fast which doesn't make that much of a difference when your doing a small area like the inside of a car.

That's just a guess cause i've never used one but I'm hoping I'm right.

I full agree with you there, but the big question is will it give you the same quality of work just not as fast?? I, too, don't really care about the speed but more for the quality and if I spend $600, it better be an A1 job.

Something else to note, is the Mytee and Century both have a suction of 120", whereas the smaller ones are rated at 102" yet the review stated that they didn't have much suction power at all. Well, correct me if I'm wrong but won't the suction power dictate how much crud the machine will be able to *pull* out of the carpet? If this is so, then if the small machines are lacking in suction, the rest really doesn't matter anymore.

I tried to look it up and I "think" that a high powered craftsman wet dry vac has about 80" of lift so I think that once you get that high they are all very powerfull. That last one by century 400 isn't heated and if I'm paying that much for an extractor it's definatly going to have heat.

Very true, but Anthony mentioned in the review thread that his Century 400 wasn't heated and was about $300 cheaper than the Durrmaid which should put it around $300 which isn't bad. On the other hand, if you're not dealing with a heated extractor and a simple wet/vac has almost the same lift, then what do we even need an extractor for? We could just use hot water/cleaner mix in a spray bottle, scrub the carpet, and then suck it out with a wet/vac. Wouldn't that be the same thing? The only difference would be the spray bottle vs. the extractor spraying it for you.
