Spray bottle

I have just received my megs wheel brightner gallon jug. Any specific spray bottle I need? I was thinking of going to home depot and just picking up a 32oz bottle. I dont think any chemical resistant or whatever sprayer nozzle end there talking about like the meg's one. Anyone will do right?

'I bought a gallon of the megs last touch QD and then went to the local plastics store and picked up a 500ml bottle with sprayer. The sprayer is quite good, you turn the nozzle to go from off (doesnt spray) to a very fine mist and further on to a jet. I think I\'ll go back and buy two more :heelclick \r\n\r\nunless its an alkaline or acid (doubt it is right?) a normal sprayer will do'

Auto Detailing Solutions sells wheel brightener 32 oz sampler in a D-21040 bottle with D-110542 chemical resistant trigger sprayer. Looks like a chem resistant sprayer is needed. I ordered 10 from US plastics at a good price. If you need more than 1, or some other containers for polish, etc. I'd check them out.

Just got this at Home Depot the other day for under $10. It may be to big for what you want.

go to smart & final and pick up the the spraymaster bottle (iirc, $5-$6), it's pretty heavy duty which will suit the WB...

Hi-tech components make this the only sprayer that stands up to most solvents and acids. Chemicals that destroy ordinary sprayers don't harm Spraymaster.

Dispenses more than 2 1/2 times as much liquid per stroke as standard sprayers. Saves time and effort. The nozzle adjusts to a mist, spray, powerful stream, and anything in-between. Extra long trigger is easier to squeeze.

The opaque silver bottle protects light-sensitive chemicals. A narrow clear "window-stripe" helps use the graduation and dilution scales. The "write-in" section permits identification of the bottle contents to avoid guesswork and costly mix-ups. Wide base makes it tip resistant. Heavyweight bottle resists chemicals and denting. Holds a full quart of liquid.Opaque Silver Bottle protects light-sensitive chemicals.

The Spray Master bottle is made of High Density Polyethylene. It is a heavier gram weight than out typically natural color delta round bottle. Also, the Spray Master is colored (gray) to protect the chemicals from the sunlight. Bleach can not be used in the spraymaster.

Poorboy's also sells a chemical resistant sprayer in their accessories section:

Even though it is chemical resistant I remember him saying they should be rinsed out after each use. I guess it depends on how strong your dilution is on how critical it is to keep them rinsed out between uses. I bought 2 or 3 when I bought their Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner, but I haven't had a need to use anything that strong yet. So far the Eagle One Tire & Wheel Cleaner, an assortment of brushes, clay, and Magic Erasers have done the job pretty well.

Wheel Brightener eats sprayers for breakfast even the chemical resistant ones. I just bought the one above at Home Depot (or maybe Lowe's) to try it out and see if it's better. I wouldn't buy that big sprayer someone posted before. The WB will probably eat it up.

One thing that seems to help is to make sure the spray head is empty before putting the bottle away after use. Just unscrew it and spray whatever is in there back into the bottle.

i saw that bottle its like $5 or $6 at home depot when i searched online. is that the chemical resistance one? how can you tell? what do you mean spray back into the bottle, you mean with water? If the spray bottles dont last long, why dont people just buy regular ones? how long are they good for if they go bad? 6 months? 1 yr?

So true, I'm on my third sprayer. And my gallon jug is leaking at the base so I need another containter to hold the concentrated WB.

i just got that home depot chemical sprayer one for $6 and tried megs wheel brightner. i have to say it is very nice, it did take most of it off, but i still needed to use a wheel scrubber and to get really in the corner i had to use a toothbrush. looks pretty good.

I have had WB in a Megs bottle with chemical sprayer from ADS for several months with no incidents to report to this or the gallon jug. The product appears to work fine this way for me.

I've gone through 3 bottles in the last year, Meg's wheel brightener just eats them. I started using their chemically resistant one, and haven't had any problems in the last 2 months. I also empty the head before I'm done with it.
