Solution Finish....Black Trim Restorer....review

My good friend Chris West sent me several sample bottles of this trim restorer, Chris has been in the detailing world for a long time and full of knowledge and brings allot of enthusiasm and energy to this industry.
Several tools you will want to have when applying Solution Finish
Latex Gloves
Old Microfiber towels (wipe off any excess product)
APC Cleaner...I used Megs APC+ diluted 4:1 goal here is to make sure you have a clean surface for bonding
small sponge applicator...for tight and hard to reach areas

Solution Finish is ideal for restoring, conditioning and protecting any originally Black plastic surfaces.
Dries Quickly with no greasy residue
Uses advanced Polymer technology
Silicone free
VOC compliant
It can be used on Cars and Trucks,Boats,Recreational vehicles,Golf carts list goes on.
Here are several pictures of a 2003 VW Passat after a full paint correction and Opti Coat Pro applied

As you can see there wasn't even a need to tape off to do a 50/50.....its too obvious which side is treated

Conclusion....I have used ALLOT of trim restorers and I am not dropping names.... but none of them comes even close to this product...If you want a more deeper black and natural like new look to faded plastic or vinyl without the wet greasy look......THIS IS THE PRODUCT !!

Are you sure that's not a bottle of black paint? Ha! J/K. Looks amazing. I need some for my 98 Honda Civic. What kind of durability can one expect?
 
Great write up. Seeing as the sample is 1oz in the store about how much did you use for this entire car since it has quite a bit of trim?
 
Great to see a review on this product, Chris gave me a small bottle awhile back and I been hook on it. Great product to have in ones detailing supplies!
 
Awesome. Keep us updated on the durability. I would love to see like a 30/60/90 day if you have access to the vehicle.

I'd like to tell you that this is a nice review, but the fact is, I hated it. Now I've got to buy a bottle of this stuff to try it out! At least the price seems reasonable and they don't load you down with excess product given its relatively short shelf life.
 
Great write up. I used it on my 06 GTO. Did the plastic side window trim and the windshield cowl. Stuff works pretty good!
