simple green safe to use on wheels?

im wondering if you can use simple green on wheels. im trying to reduce the amount of products i have cuz it seems i end up developing a huge stock pile of chemicals that i never finish using. so rather than buy a wheel cleaner specific spray i wanted to know if i could just use this?

I've used it full strength on clear coat rims with long dwell times, no issues. Good product and enviroment friendly

A while back there was a guy with a VW who used Simple Green exclusively on his wheels. Very happy...until after a while he noticed that the Simple Green had gradually dulled the factory clear in a way that couldn't be corrected. It happened so gradually that he didn't notice until it was way too late. So no Simple Green on *my* wheels, thank you.



99% of the time I just use a slightly stronger-than-normal shampoo mix.
