I'm new here but have learned a ton about finish care already but am not able to figure out this last step - hope I can benefit from your experience.
Got a new Chrysler with silver clearcoat paint. Been washed every week I've had it. As far as I can tell, the finish has no swirl marks.
So what would you recommend I do to the finish to maintain it beyond washing it? I know this is a broad question but it has been a while since I had a new car and products have changed a lot. I'm not sure if I should clay it once to begin with, then polish then wax or glaze or what.
My goal is durability over depth of gloss - I cannot wax every weekend, so I'd be willing to sacrifice a show-quality depth of finish to get a durable protective coat that would require less frequent maintenance. If I can get low maintenance with depth, then that's a plus.
If this kind of thing has been beated to death before, if you could point me to the relavent thread I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
RP
