Sheepskin Wash Mitts Keep Falling Apart

I don't know if I'm getting bad quality mitts or if I'm doing or not doing something to them but every real sheepskin wash mitt I've had completely deteriorates after a few washes. Is there some kind of maintenance you are supposed to use on these?

You need to dry them out afterwards or they will rot. You can either rinse/wash them well and put them in the dryer briefly on low, hang them, or as my friend Jr. pioneered, put a 1 pint water bottle inside to keep it open for drying.

wash mitts are so cheap that I usually toss them after a few uses anyways. But if you really want to try and make them last then yes you need to dry them out afterwards. I hang mine up on my floor matt holder at the end of the night.
