This is my favorite wheel cleaner, so far. I tried the A2Z, but like this stuff better because it cleans about the same, but foams up so it will stick on longer. Its also cheaper. This also works wonders on wheel wells!

Cleaning ability: 4.5/5

Harshness: 2.5/5

Foaming: 4.5/5

Pont, I believe the product you just reviewed is the revised version of A2Z. Comes in the blue/silver packaging right? It's good stuff. Nothing gets my RWL cleaner than some of this on a stiff brush.

Maybe, but the A2Z I bought like last month said it was new and revised too. Ya, it comes in the blue and silver package.

Man that looks like strong stuff. Does anyone know if it would cause polished chrome rims to meltdown? Reminds me of the product called Magic Tire Bright or something like that from many years ago.

A2Z has been my favorite OTC wheel cleaner.

How did you rate "harshness"?

I used PBs wheel sealant on the wheel about 2 months ago and after the cleaner it still beaded and was still slick. It loosened all the brake dust good too.

i honestly doubt that a 2 month old wheel sealant stood up to that stuff, it is so harsh.

I dont know, but it passed the beading and slickness test. Just look at the pictures, do you think I'm lying?

Pontman43, I would never suggest anyone is lying, and you certainly aren't.

However, something that alkaline will demolish any sealant on a painted surface. I'd suggest that the plasticised urethane on your wheels are now squeeky clean and in great shape...hence the beading and slickness. BTW, plasticised urethane is naturally slicker than paint. ;)

I love A2Z used carefully, but have never used the new stuff. Great pics...it has me wondering! :D

A2Z is great stuff, but boy it's stout!! I found evidence of etching on my painted wheels. It definitely works wonders for wheel wells.

I had a major spill changing my oil a while back, and A2Z made the oil stains go completely away!

It will even put the hurt on a strong sealant such as Zaino. It will take it right off based on my experience.

I guess your right. Good thing I followed with OCW. I definetly like the All Wheel and Tire Cleaner better than A2Z, give it a try.
