Review: Pinnacle’s new glass trio
Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner with Water Repellent
Pinnacle GlassWork Water Spot Remover
Pinnacle GlassCoat Window Sealant with Rain Repellent
First off I hate cleaning glass, one my least favorite parts to detailing, that is until now. I have used various OTC glass products for general cleaning and all left the glass streaked or a haze would generate couple of hours later.
We will use my passenger rear window on my 2010 TSX as the point of reference; the glass is dirty and has waterspots.
First I used the Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner, it has a really pleasant smell and wasn’t as runny as I expected it to be and I even over sprayed it to show it. Honestly you only need 1 to 2 sprays of this.
Next the glass is clean but still it has marks on it, this is when I went for the GlassWork Water Spot Remover.
Applied with a MF pad and removed with MF towel and Glass cleaner.
And the final product!!! For sealing the glass I stole some of my wifes makeup pads, the kind that came with the Gtechniq G1. It makes applying the Glasscoat Window Sealant a lot easier and less product waste.
Final Thoughts, It works. The glass cleaner alone does not streak and can be used inside and out. The Waterspot remover actually works, the glass waterspot remover market is saturated with mediocre products and it’s great to finally see something that works. The sealant is the icing on the cake, I want to see how this holds up on chilly mornings with frost in WV.
