A little about the land rover

-repo by dealership

-owner was a pig. had clothes sleeping bag trash moldy peaches and even Mayonnaise dried up in one of the corner. the carpet was stained and the seats were very ugly and oily, sticky. center console was the worst as it had mold and alot of food and sticky stuff.

-orange

-looks to been repainted as over spray apparent on trim and some parts are bubbled

-made in 2008

Owner Expectations

- make the interior new again and inform if seats need to be touched up

- get rid of the scratches on the hood

Results

-80% scratches were removed except deep ones( inspected using florescent lights and halogen lights)

- interior (leather cleaned and treated with rejuvenating oil, all marks and carpet stain removed)

Tools and products used

-makita rotary (for compounding, polishing, glaze) (after a few years experience i can produce a swirl free result)

-polish/lt cut pad (used for compounding, polishing) (only pad available at dealership)

-meg 84

-autoglym

-mothers seal

-mother carb wax

sorry no before pictures of the interior. should snapped some. it was just terrible, like a homeless person lived in it. everyone at the dealership was surprised how clean the interior is after the detail

everyone switched over to m105/205

it takes true skills to master the old system :D

choose m84 because the paint had severe swirls, water stains, key scratches.

without using sand paper i managed to take almost everything away leaving only buffer marks. autoglym polish manged to take it all out so m82 and m80 was not needed plus the owner did not want a full correction
