my factory polished aluminum wheels appear to have a clear coat on them. they're 5 yrs old and they're beginning to show inconsistencies in color.
what's the best way to remove the clear coat? i'm assuming this is what i want to do - i want to polish the rims to look brand new. and i understand the downside is increased maintanance.
and if the solution is too difficult for me (a beginner), where should i go to do the work? (any recommendations for norcal?)
thanks,
chuck
