Removing cheap masking tape residue

As the title said, crazy guy like me had to buy the cheap tape, I had used the painter/masking tape the light brown one to tape off the black plastic trim and the body paint to clean my windows i had leave it on for 2 days and i took it off now my trim and panals have tape residue. I wanted to know if their is an easier way of removing this residue safely instead of just using a MF towel with soap/water and srubbing hard- that will take all day. Got to get the 3m blue tape soon.

Yea, it's safe for paint...comes in handy from time to time.



Other than that....Bug and Tar remover, 3M Adhesive remover, etc.
 
3M Adhesive Remover for me. I keep a few cans of it handy...in the shop, in the basement workshop, it's great stuff to have around.
