I am in need of a soft brush/tool that can be used regularly for working leather shampoo into tan leather. The leather is okay in terms of cleanliness but is over 10 years old (has been conditioned an unknown amount of times with, I believe, Armor All). Any links to the product of choice for this situation?

A horsehair brush you can use. Like the one's you buy in the shoe polish kits.

You have lots of choices here. I personally like the Sonus SFX Professional Applicator because it has a mild scrubbing side to apply a leather cleaner/shampoo and a soft side to apply a leather conditioner. If you don't want to use the scrubbing side too often you can use the soft side to apply the leather cleaner. I would also recommend the leather cleaner and conditioner by Sonus. What is meant by "Pkg/2"? Did they mean to say "2-pack"?
I've seen these at Wally World - couldn't I use these with equally impressive results?
Those look like microfiber applicators. When applying a leather cleaner/shampoo, I prefer a foam applicator with a scrubbing side over a microfiber applicator, as these won't clean as well.
I used the one that came in the Leatherique kit from AG and they work well, small and rather stiff. I just did my leather couch and car seats with Leatherique and I must admit thuis is really the best stuff I ever used for leather, much better than Lexol, the leather cleaner from CG and Griot's.
Brushing is OK for the most aprt except for old leather, sometime when you scrub too hard, teh top layer peels off so I'd recommend the Leatherique system. First lotion ushes out the dirt and restore oils, second step cleans out the residue whihc is easily brushed off.
