I detail this car and his wife's Land Rover (wednesday) about every 8 months.



No picture of the interior work. I finished a 2:30pm and the pictures would have looked bad.



Exterior Process

Armor all wash

Meg's red clay

Presta 1500/OHC orange pad (rotary on hood) pc 6

CG's Extreme Coat to protect pc 4 finishing pad

Hyper Dressing 3:1 on tires

Grape Dressin on tires/trim

I know this is an old thread, but I have a question for the OP. I am planning to polish my Rx8 within the next week with my new Megs G110 V2 DA Polisher. It has 5.5" pads but I have a few 4" white pads as well. What i'm wondering is if the 5.5" pads will be able to polish the entire car without me running into problems? Basically, I want to know if I need to buy 4" orange pads so I can polish sections like the trunk, horizontal part of the bumper, and the pillars that connect the roof to the doors and windshield? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
