Recomend me AutoGlym products

Tomorrow I'll be visited by a Autoglym technician (thanks for the contact Ricardo!) who's going to show me their products.

What's good on their line? I think it's the pro line.

How cool! Should be interesting.

I just bought their bumper care today from the Autopian site (discount!) It seems like a nice product.

I have the glass polish. I like AIO on glass better.

I have the leather cleaner. I have yet to use it. Reserved for high end leather interiors. Recommended by Rolls Royce.

Sorry, just realized this was of no use to you :D

I'd recommend the resin polish, and the extra gloss protection.

let me know what you think of both, as I know you have quite an arsenal :)

Just realized that the rep probably visited yesterday and I posted a day late. Sorry about that. Let us know if you got anything.

Don't buy anything from retail line. They are good quality products but they are overpriced and not a good value compared to products available in professional line and bodyshop lines.

Professional line:

Radiant Wax Polish. It is the same formula as Super Resin Polish but sold in Professional line and costs about 1/3 of the price. Performs basically the same function of AIO in that it cleans and does add a protective layer to your paint. Also recommend Liquid Hardwax, its a long-term sealant that works great on top of Radiant Wax Polish.

Bodyshop line:

The polishes and compounds are great. Save me lots of time and they are rather cheap. Same formula as "Norton Clear Choice Abrasives" which is readily available in the USA. There is someone on Autopia that swears by Norton but dont remember who it is at the moment.

I really don't like the Resin Polish, leaves nasty white stains on plastic and is as dusty as the Sahara, compared with EX, NXT et al, I think it's rubbish

I was interested to read your comments, as I'd been planning on ordering some in the near future. Does the Resin Polish stain trim much worse than other waxes/sealants, ie Blitz Wax or others?

As my car has very little black trim which can be stained, the look left on the paint would be my only real concern!

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Any update from the Autoglym visit?

The Resin can stain some trim but is easily removed with Autoglyms Bumper Shine. The Resin or Extra Gloss also works well with Blitz.

The guy came with a truck full of Autoglym products and tools. As I was in a hurry (I was going to the Police fill the complain for my car :( ) He showed be some basics and left their catalog. They carry the full line, from public to body shop.

You guys are helping me choosing what I want them to supply as samples. Thanks :up
