plastic/molding restoration...

the plastic on in the front of my car.. below the windshield is starting to fade and turn grey, almost white! whats the best way to renew it? also the side moldings which is rubber below the side mirrors and even my rearview mirrors are like that!
 
I want to try a product called Forever Black that top of the LIne sells .

It includes a plastic pre-cleaner , and a black semi-permanent dye .

One light coat followed by another and it is supposed to be back to new .

Then I would use some 303 or Klasse VRL or maybe Adam's Vinyl rubber to keep it UV protected ?
