Pictures of PAC, the final days?

I just tried using stoner glass. I am getting streaks with it. I am using griot's window wipes. Is this the problem. Can someone please tell me the best way to use stoner glass.

I used to use Stoner's Invisible Glass, and when I did I'd use it with a microfiber towel. Never any problems that way. I've since switched to Sprayway Glass Cleaner as I feel it performs a bit better than the Stoner's. I also use the Sprayway with a microfiber towel - no streaks.
 
1) Wet an MF towel and wring it out thoroughly.



2) Spray Stoner on the glass and wipe down with MF.



3) Reapply a small amount of Stoner to the glass and use a small, clean, soft cotton towel to buff to a brilliant finish.



I've tried step three with a dry MF but I much prefer the results with a cotton towel.

I get streaking too when I use Griot's blue polypropelene window towels. Since going to MF's I have never had a problem. I use the CMA gold-color window polishing towels with Stoners or Sprayway. Both cleaners work extremely well.
 
Hot windows is a major cause of streaking. I get excellent results with Sprayway and 100% cotton towels. Spray, wipe, then buff with a dry towel. Also, if your windows were cruddy, it may take several applications, nothing can work a miracle. Get them right once, and it will be easy after.
 
The first wipe or pass using Stoner's left streaks for me too. I just use a second clean dry MF or cotton towel to buff out the streaks. That seemed to work well for me.



I have since changed to Turtle Wax's ClearVue, which leaves leave NO streaks at all. They were all out of E1 20/20, so I decided to give the TW a shot. It's cheaper than Stoners and is easier to work with.
 
I tried stoners this weekend for the first time. I thought it worked pretty darned good. two terry towels. one for the scrub (then flip it over to dry up a little) and a clean dry one for buffing. I have been using the Lifter1 stuff (used to be CHEEP at ~$1.99/can) but kragen ran out of stock in all stores and there's no longer a price tag on the shelf.
 
I am kinda of curious what PAC looks like now and before.. Does anyone have pictures of the building inside and outside? Pictures of employees? I really am going to miss PAC, although I am a new customer with a few recent orders..

I wonder if everything got sold from the big sale..

They are packing up to leave. I doubt they are stopping for pics.
 
I am sure they will take some farewell pictures, be nice if they posted them. I never really got to know PAC like other ppl here in TID..
