Photobucket Issues

I am honestly not sure if the issues are theirs or mine but I cannot upload from my phone any more. And their service is worse than poor.

They send me emails and write cases solved and it still does not work !

So anyone else use photobucket? Can you upload by emailing a picture to a special email address they give you?

If I don't get a live person to walk me through it I need a new provider.

So what's everyone using and are you happy.
 
i use imgur for photos. i dont think it has the abilities like photobucket to print photos and have them mailed to you etc.. but its an easy place to have my pictures uploaded and stored
 
Are you using the Photobucket app for uploading? Or are you going to the photobucket site via your phone's browser?

I just tested the app and upload a photo w/o any issues with my iPhone 6.
 
Yeah, I used the app on my iPhone today too and it worked fine.


I have had some issues from time to time but it usually works when I try it again.
 
The app works fine, thanks for the tip. But it really only works if I back up all my photos which I hate doing just because of privacy issues. I take a lot of pics of the kids and stuff for work, other than car detailing stuff that I don't want out there on the web. I have almost no social media or online foot print and I like it that way. its unusual today I know, yes I am a dino but I am what I am. Privacy is something that you cant get back once its out there.

I liked the old way, select a picture for photos on the ipnone, email or text it to the photobucket assigned e mail address and boom they email you the link to use to post in the forum. It was so easy that even jeff and do it.

Now they are requiring you to enable upload all your photos past and present under the guise that they are backing you up (my icloud does that and I'm not afraid of them selling or using my photos). I also guess they want you to fill up your free space and pay for more. I do use photobucket to print stuff for me and they get revenue that way but these changes are pushing me away. Plus they have the worst customer service. I keep telling them I have a problem, and they keep telling me its solved when it is not solved and there is no one to speak to. No phone number, so I guess they don't care. They need a RAy over there.

Using the app I'm able to choose only the photos I want uploaded from my iPhone's photo library. Not sure why you're forced to back up all of your photos to Photobucket. Maybe there's a setting that needs adjustment?

I agree - I wouldn't want all of my personal photos being uploaded either. I only use Photobucket for detailing photos to share with you guys.
 
If I do that then they don't appear in the area where I can grab the IMG code to post pictures.

By the way I sent them an angry message through the support and I get a bot answer that my problem is solved. I'd like to ring that bots neck./

There is a setting, just can't recall where it was.


I actually can't stand Flickr. We have to use it for the DI Blog and it's just not as intuitive as Photobuckt IMO. I can insert pics way faster with PB.
