A Miracle Detailing
This review is a bit overdue.
Sadly, it has rained every weekend for the last few weeks and I have been unable to get "A Round 'Tuit".
The directions are pretty simple.
Directions:
1. Thoroughly clean the surface(s) to be protected.
...Do NOT use any type of wash and wax product as this will interfere with the bonding of Permanon Platinum.
...Ensure the surface is free of any previously applied waxes and sealants. I other words use on clean bare paint.
2. A 5% solution of Permanon Platinum is ideal for daily drivers.
3. Pour 50 ml of Permanon Platinum into a 32 oz. spray bottle filled with water. (I used 24oz water)
4. Spray Permanon Platinum starting at the top of the vehicle and work your way down.
5. Thoroughly rinse the vehicle with water and then dry it using a soft microfiber towel or blower.
In my case I didn't rinse off the vehicle but I did use a blower to dry all the product off the paint.
Things noticed.
Right after the application I touched the surface looking for slickness and found the product smeared.
A light wipe with a microfiber towel & the surface blended back into the same surrounding appearance.
Very easy to apply. Slickness for the first day was minimal but it did leave a nice "shiny" surface look.
A week later.
It has rained on the vehicle many times since the initial application. The beading and sheeting is excellent.
When I drove through the rain a single stop at a stop light & all the water was gone and the vehicle was dry.
The look is bright and shiny and the feel is semi-slick. It is not grabby and it doesn't have an oily slippery feel.
Thoughts.
This has to be the easiest LSP product I have applied. Spray, rinse & blow dry. (I know I missed the rinse part)
I like the part that it is a "no touch" after application. This eliminates the risk of any towel LSP removal marring.
I used about half the mixture on the one vehicle. The directions state there's a 3 week shelf life after mixing.
I'm not sure about durability yet as it is still early. IMHO Permanon Platinum has very nice look on silver paint.
