Got 3 cans of this over the weekend. Buy 2 get one free. Figured just another fad soda. WOW! I was wrong. Best cola i have ever tasted! Mixed to perfection. They nailed this one.

Didn't they use cocaine back then? Hope you don't have to take a drug test at work :lol2:

PA Detailer- How would you describe the taste? (Yeah, I know.. that can be tough!)

We don't drink much cola these days (Accumulatorette has about two/week, I might have two/year), but when we do we both prefer RC.

coke had cocaine

7up had barbituates

got any of those old sodas? lol

I tried the cane sugar vanilla cherry pepsi-- yuck

The one pictured is fantastic - basically Coke without the bite. No Pepsi taste at all (which IMO is a huge positive). The ginger cola on the other hand isn't very good - to much ginger (and I love real ginger ale).

-AND-

Just a rich balanced cola taste.

Heh heh, different Colas taste so different to me thatI have zero idea what that means! :o

Thanks for trying to explain it though.

OK, I get the last half of that, but "Coke without the bite" is lost on me too!

Guess it's been too long since I drank cola regularly, I'm one clueless guy on this thread!

I bet it tastes better mostly because it has sugar and not corn syrup (like Mexican and Canadian Coke/Pepsi that only use sugar).

My wife had a hard time finding a soda she liked last time we went to NY. She minded the taste so much that she had to switch from Rum and Coke to Vodka Cranberry. I personally like Cherry Coke, because we dont have it in Canada (also miss Mello Yello). Oh and Mountain Dew tastes better with corn syrup IMHO.

I consider myself somewhat of a soda connoisseur

I bought a can the other day at Sheetz on my way to Altoona. To me it seemed like it was extra carbonated. Almost a nutty flavor mixed in there. Ill have to grab another can on my way back from NY to see if I can break it down

Mmm sheetz! I love their pretzel bread sandwiches. Always stop when I head through PA. Primos sub shop is another favorite....gonna have to try this 1893.
