Has anyone used this PDR training system http://pdrsecrets.com

The guy makes a lot of claims I want to know if he can deliver or if it is a scam.

By the looks of it he wants $747.

P.S. I'm not affiliated with this guy nor do I know him I got him from a yahoo search on PDR.

PDR is very real, that version and school i know nothing about. I will say this, talented PDR guys are out there. The skill is as much feel and exp as doing a detail... I'd rather refer out a qualified guy than do a sub par PDR myself. Plus if you refer out work to a good pdr guy, he can refer work back, it's another voice in your favor, one that sees many cutomers a day.

Thanks Grouse. What this guy is saying is that he can teach you the "new" way. Whereas the old way the teacher would say "look here this is the way you work the dent" and the student would look but no see anything and it would take him 8-12 months to "see it" this guy says he can eliminate this and save you the months of frustration. He is playing on the weeknesses of a traditional PDR training to boost his formula. He definetley has an agngle since the traditional PDR is several thousand dollars. I saw one guy in Texas charging $15,000 for 3 weeks and you can apprentice with him for 2 months (he pays for the hotel). So $747 (if he can deliver) seems like a bargain compared to $ 15,000.

Dunno man there are no magic cures, no magic formulas, no magic potions. what we do is work. it's a skill that has to be learned and refined..

i have never heard of this site, i would be hesitant (NO) on this since this is a video(even if it was offered online...the best training is hands on imho...well did you sgn up for the free mini course...if you do decide to go this method keep us informed...

It’s a business like detailing and requires retail marketing if you don’t want to work for dealerships. Unlike a dealership, wait until someone see you drilling a hole into a DJ.

The mini course is all about how his methods are better, lot of info but no substance (I guess you have to pay for that). I looked on the last pages and the price gets lower to 297 and 447 for the gold package.

I have known a few PDR guys and it is a skill. Some have it and some don't. I am told it takes alot of time to master it.

I know they make great money come hail season.

I don't see how he or anyone can properly teach you PDR through a video. Training must take place onsite with the tools in your hand. Even with excellent training, your work won't be billable for like 6 months.

doording.com's forums will have the truth about this guy.

Thank you guys for your interest in the Paintless Mentor System.

Instead of defending the system, I'll let my students tell you about it.

You'll notice some never went to school and are now fixing dents.

Others went to school, didn't get what they needed and found it in the system.

IMO I wouldn't pay for a PDR training video. The best way to learn is with one on one hands on training. When I learned it was just one trainer for my buddy and I. Anymore then that and you might not be getting the time and help you need to learn. There are some things that you just can't learn from a video IMO. And I feel PDR is one of them.

:werd: I totally agree. I am very interested in learning PDR as an add on, etc., and I would feel ten times better learning hands on from an experienced professional or accredited school.
