Yeah, as the name implies, this is made for the aircraft industry...
It's a restorer and preservative made for rubber pneumatic de-icing boots.

I'm in the aircraft refinishing business and every plane, before it leave our shop, get's this treatment. As a matter of fact, I used it just today, and the results are very promising.
I'm suspecting it has long lasting qualities. The shine wasn't overkill, or too glossy, but had a nice sheen.

This isn't exactly a 'review' as of yet, but I do plan on testing it on my tires/trim/rubbers...

More about the product:

"Blocks out harmful UV Rays"

"Dries quickly to a high gloss finish while offering the longest lasting protection against all weather, wear and tear. No more black streaks on wings from oily products that fly off. Helps prevent dry rot.
Light plane maintenance magazine says "...Make no mistake, the PBS Boot System is the best boot treatment we've ever seen..."

At $52.48 a quart, it's not the cheapest preservative/dressing out there!

Jetstream Aviation Products - Pbs De-Ice Boot System

We've never used the PBS prep on any of out planes, but we go over and clean using Toulene prior to application.

There is a link to a PDF application guide/instructions on the website...they recommed 3 to 5 coats, but we ever only use one...with good results.
The more coats, the more gloss.

I figure if it can protect de-icing boots at freezing, high altitudes and speeds in and around 300 MPH, it should work great on tires/trim!

at over 50 clams/qt it oughta work damn well. but let us know what you think of it and see how much you can smuggle...

If it is as awesome as it sounds, maybe someone can arrange a group buy with a discount...?
And a quart should go a LONG way...
