Couldn't really have said it any better, I pretty much agree with what has been said here. Pinnacle Souvran has held a place in my heart, on my shelf and on my cars from the very first time I used it. I really can't say any carnauba by itself looks better to my eye. Midnight Sun is right there with it. Perhaps my expectations are low because I don't use a carnauba wax expecting incredible durability. With that thought in mind I don't find Souveran to be as bad as many people claim. I believe that if you're going to use a carnauba wax without synthetic components mixed in you should plan on repeating the process no longer than every couple of months, perhaps every 3 or4 washes. It provides no less durability than I expect.Really, they are both great looking products. Ease of use is a extremely high with either. Souveran smells better.
I dunno. I wouldn't use either on a daily driver in the winter. Really, there is no wrong choices here. I would use BF MS over BF AFPP (BFWD).
IIR, the BF stuff just beads and sheets water better. So, it depends on the car you are driving (does it see rain?).
However, people say the longevity of Souveran sux. But, on a garage queen I found it better than Swissvax BOS or Bouncer's CTR. Actually, it was pretty acceptable.
So, in conclusion, I would say if the car is a total garage queen - go with Pinnacle. If it sits outside and sees some rain - go with BF.
That of course means Autopia Car-Care does also. The Geekers site has the whole BF fire over ice set for $49.99 right now. Hard to beat that.
