UPDATED ON PAGE 3 OF THREAD

Hey Guys on Saturday, August 1st I will be offering a 6 hour Paint Correction Class in my shop. There will be a limited number of people who can attend. I want to keep the class under the size of ten people. This way it will be more of a one on one type feel. This class will be for free. I always wanted to do this and I feel I'm at the point in my career where I'm comfortable to train others. I have trained many before, but never on my own. The class will be completely about full paint correction. I would like to start off with a 3 hour session on all the basics from Paint Preparation to knowledge base of paint, pads, polishers, lighting, wet sanding. This will be a very informative discussion that will help even some more experienced detailers. Then we can spend the rest of the day hands on. I will provide food and drinks for all. All you need to do is show up ready to learn and have a good attitude. I have been in contact with a few national suppliers who will be offering free samples of compounds and polishes. If your interested please respond in the thread or by pm and I'll contact you back! Thanks

hey great pat im glad. I'm really hoping this will work out I have been thinking of the idea for a while now. I had a mini training session with Forum member Ohio State and he has made some progress from it, plus I think it would be nice to put some faces with names ya know! oh if you do come please bring that nova i wanna see thing thing in person! thanks pat.

Would be interested in attending, provided I'm not working. New to the forums, always glad to meet and learn from other detailers :wavey

I am interested in attending- but not yet 100% positive I can make it. I will definitely be able to say for sure within 2 weeks or so. I'm assuming we should bring our own machine polisher/supply of polishes etc? Thanks for offering this!

This is a great idea Berry...

On August 1st, my B Day!!!!:woohoo:

My first trip down learned so much, but I'm hungry to start learning more on the paint correction side!!!

Cant wait!!:buffing:

Great idea!

Also if you need a donor car for the class - I have a 2007 brillian black RX8 that could use a professional touch.

-I am going to try my hand this weekend, but it would benefit from pro tips for sure. I'll send pics :)

I'm interested, even though I consider myself experienced. However, I have a detail scheduled on the 1st, not sure if I can move it. I'll let you know. If there is a list, sign me up. I don't wanna take anyones spot though.

I would LOVE to attend this as well, Ive been dying for an experienced detailer to offer this on my side of the country.

I would love to come down for this if I weren't going to be out of town. Hope you do this again some time because I would love to expand what I think I already know and be trained by a professional!

Tempting to come, if only for the experience of meeting some fellow autopians. It's on the other side of the state unforunately :(
