ok. So below I'm going to post everything we have so far. this includes everything that should arrive tomorrow from ag and pb. I know I'm missing a few things and need some suggestions. But for the most part I just want to make sure I have all my bases covered.
the suggestions I need are on a good NO SLING tire dressing. preferably one with a natural look that can be layered to a gloss. Chrome/metal polish/cleaner perhaps with ability to remove rust. and some interior pre-treat chemicals. I'll be ordering some leather stuff from pb for leather interiors. Also does anyone have a suggestion for a really good odor removal preferably in aerosol form..

Suggestions on tire dressing based on the criteria you mentioned:

PB's Bold & Bright (sprayer)
Adam's VRT (lotion-like)
Stoner's More Shine Less Time (aerosol sprayer)

For interior cleaner or pre-cleaner:

FOLEX

Our son Jonathan recently was introduced to VRT. He had made a comment on how he liked the end result. IT is a good product and is easy to apply. Bold and Bright is another that has merits.

So I guess the purpose of this post is to agree with Jared.

ill check in to the vrt, sounds nice. I just hate the sling effect. I've never used high end tire dressings though. Its always been megs extreme shine, or armorall extreme shine, or black magic deep gloss.. All of which I could let cure for 5 hours, and theyd still sling like i poured a whole bottle over the tire and then drove 100mph.. Its such a pain to detail an exterior and then have to qd it every time we park because of the sling

Without regard to what product is being used, witness, I think application of less product would be warranted if after five hours one still has sling.

I know I sound obtuse but I had(wanted) to say it.:wall

That's the thing. I apply by tire applicator or by can depending on the product. With each I let it stand for about 20 mins then I wipe with a mf. I reapply if there are any spots I missed. I let it again and then before we Leave I wipe again just to make sure. It's not over application. It's justthe product. I'm not getting globs of sling. Just little marks. But they sling all the way down the bottom half of the car

DoEs folex really work the way the website says it does. I checked it out. Seems pretty cool if it'll actually clean as advertised. Do you use it on a normal basis and find that it really is this effective. It seems that many detailers just minutes away carry it. I may pick up a can and test it out this weekend if it'll stay dry for longer than an hour

Folex has always worked remarkably well for me. Spot treat stain liberally with Folex, let it sit for a minute and then agitate with a brush. I then blot dry with a clean towel and exert pressure to wick up any remaining Folex and the stain is GONE! I will ALWAYS have Folex in my arsenal.

Folex works, period. Best carpet cleaner product I've ever used. I use it for home, boat, and auto. You can get it at Lowe's, Home Depot and at one time the WM here carried it.

Lose the simple green and get a different apc.
Simple green can etch aluminum.

I use PB apc, but there are plenty to choose from. But I know the pb won't etch.

The VRT does not sling, the vehicle can be move right after application. Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel is similar, but I prefer the Adam's.

Something about these dressings is you will use less product and get better results vs. the OTC dressings.

Good point!!

Don't ask me how I know.

I use Poorboy's apc now. IT works and doesn't etch aluminum.
