What do yall think of my flyer so far? I think it's pretty good. Suggestions? Sorry it doesn't look like a flyer on here. The title is larger and is blue. The line that talks about the discount is larger too.

Without seeing an actual flyer, it's hard to judge. Here's what I see though when I look through what you have listed:

20% Discount

$20 Exterior Detail

$35 Interior Detail

If I were looking for a detailer, I personally would never use your services because to me, it seems you are promoting discounts and cheap prices. With those kind of prices, you probably won't have any loyal customers because once they find a cheaper price, they'll go somewhere else. That is the mentality of those types of customers. You also will have to work twice as hard because you are working so cheap.

I'm not sure what your business plan says, but you may want to re-visit it. If you are targeting cheap customers, then you are on the right track. If you put quality and service above price, then you'll need to re-think your services.

By the way, you may want to remove your contact information. If you don't, the mods probably will do it for you since it violates forum rules. Just giving you the heads up.

A professional detailer would never charge those prices. And someone who loves their car would never bargain hunt to that extreme. Plus, it should be noted, the services you are offering aren't really "detailing." You're operating a mobile car wash.

I don't see anywhere on the "brochure" that you are licensed and insured. Coincidence?

I honestly don't think flyers will drum up much businesses. It hasn't worked for me and I think anything on paper is somewhat useless now. Your better bet is craigslist or join a networking group. Of course your best business is word of mouth!

I believe business cards are a must... word of mouth is good but when it's accompanied by a bus. card the potential client will remember better...

As for flyers, I've had some success at a few car shows, but business cards might have sufficed so I'm not sure...

We use a rear view hangar on cars once the service is complete. Kinda like the handicap placards. We use them primarily for flow-up - satisfaction survey. We also offer a referral discount - two birds with one stone. But, I have to agree with optimusp517; unless you are at some car show or some circumstance where you have a booth, flyers just don't get much new buusiness. And, if you have them professionally printed, they can be pretty expensive.
