Evenin',

This VW was an absolute treat to work on. It's on of 5000 to be sold in the US and this guy had one of the first. He picked it up on Monday and it's got less than 100 miles on it. I told him to tell the dealership not to mess with it when it came off the truck and I'm glad he listened.

The customer actually kept a watchful eye during the entire detail. I'm hoping he learned a few things so that he can take care of this beauty himself between details. Stunning vehicle and it came out looking gorgeous! He didn't think it could look any better than it was since it was brand new, but I proved him wrong!

- Wash with CG Citrus Wash & ShMITT

- Dry with Guzzler

- Wheels washed with P21S

- AA Tire Gel On Tires

- Z1 / Z5 / Z2 Pro x2

Enjoy!

Comments are always appreciated.

Great work! I have been waiting for years for these new ones to come to the US and this is the first one that I have heard to be in the US. They only have auto dsg though. I do wish they put the 3.6 in but it is still a fun car and very underated for the power, ride, quality, sound, and the pure refinement you get. Great color though and I am sure he will be one happy person with it.

Thanks everyone! I really wish that the camera would have captured it better, but the flake pop with the Zaino combo was fantastic.

The owner was sceptical when I told him I could make the paint look much better. "How on earth can you improve on this when it's not even 4 days old?"

He was stunned when we pulled it out of the garage into the full sun, grin from ear to ear!

Pretty cool little ride. Definitely one of the more unique VWs. I personally like the orange ones.

The orange ones are a special edition "Fahrenheit" GTI, the R32 doesn't come in orange.

What the heck?? No manual tranny :(

Great job on the detail :)

They don't come with a shift it yourself either...

Nice car! I wonder if i would fit in it, cuz I"m 6' 4".

With ease! The car is much bigger than it looks. I always chuckle when someone say something about my "tiny" VW. It's got more room inside than most mid-size sedans!

Excellent detail work, the car looks great! It's a shame they drilled that sweet aluminum front grille for the ugly plate holder though...

I love that car, great work. Customer chose a nice color. So many of those cars are already spoken for and I wish I was one of them but I needed the GLI for the extra space.

Thanks for the comments everyone! The customer contacted me again today saying just how pleased he was with the outcome.

Don't we wish we had customers like that every day?

Very nice work! Amazing reflection for gray. Too bad it's not blue, IMHO.

violentveedub: it only comes with the DSG. You shift it yourself, sort of, but there's no clutch pedal. I like these, but after five VW's my next car will be rear drive, with a straight six. And a clutch pedal.
